Join the Utah Browncoats at "Serenity Valley" Fair Mall for a day of misbehaving! Along with the kind folks at the Nerd Store, we'll be celebrating the release of Firefly #1 and naturally, raising money for a great cause!
The Utah Browncoats will bring a few of our most popular props and backgrounds for your photo-taking pleasure. Visit the Hero of Canton, see our beautiful large Serenity backdrop, and maybe we'll even have a visit from the shiniest car in the 'Verse - Mal the Mini!
Of course, it wouldn't be a legendary Utah Browncoats event without some great contests and shiny prizes. Come in Firefly / Serenity cosplay to enter our Cosplay contest! Bring your best wits for a challenging trivia competition, and last but absolutely not least, we will be holding one of our unparalleled prize drawings!
The Utah Browncoats are globally famous for our charitable chops, and this event is no exception! The Sereni-Tree will be present, and there will be decor and ornaments for you to sponsor to help make this the shiniest, most beautiful Browncoat tree ever.
All proceeds from our event will benefit the Sereni-Tree project, and it's been said that donating decor might just get you some additional prize tickets. If you already have items ready to donate, this would be a great time to drop them off!
The Nerd Store will be generously contributing some prizes to our various contests and will have plenty of copies of Firefly #1 for sale at the event (and beyond!) so please let them know how wonderful our local Browncoats are by giving them some of your time and attention!
So come on down and spend the day with your favorite fandom charity! Get your Guild, do some good works, and have some fun meeting other Browncoats! It's going to be the best day ever!
