Over 800 Big Damn Heroes poured into room 250 at the top of the stairs on Saturday, Sept 7th for our rescheduled showing of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. While we know the time change was popular with some, and not so much with others, we are pleased to say that the packed house that assembled that night were able to do some mighty deeds!
Our total donation is $1955, with $1,467 going to Equality Now, and $488 to local charity Family Promise - Salt Lake. As mentioned, all the items given away at our event were donated by vendors present at the con, so we ask that you help us thank them! We also thank our very hard-working volunteers who not only ran the event, but also had to hold down the fort at the booth at the same time! We are so grateful for everyone who contributed in any way.
